This is definitely one of the better books on the market concerning 2012. The author, Alexandra Bruce has a great writing style as she objectively explores the 2012 topic. She has interviewed a number of experts on the topic and the book covers a wide variety of theories and speculation on the 2012 end date.
The book covers ancient history and discusses the various legends of world ages across multiple cultures, not just the Maya. Each chapter is packed with information which at times, makes you want more detail but overall, this book can serve as an excellent reference guide for anyone that is wanting to explore the 2012 topic.
I don’t know about anyone else, but as long as I can remember I have always had a deep feeling of an iminent disaster or coming. Just recently have I actually decided to learn about how Christianity plays and has played roles within my life, and have now realized that is for many linked reasons. I feel that is my personal calling. I suppose anything all of humanity can do is prepare and pray. The world will have a massive shift in it’s collective conciousness within my lifetime. I cannot shake that feeling and have never been able to. I’m not sure if as soon as 2012, but it would not suprise me one bit….
I just wanted to say I feel the maker of the earth would not destroy us without some warnings.
The high rise in earthquakes; tsunamis ; the higher level of consciousness in some individuals to pray for world peace and reach out to others while at times most of the world (unfortunately)
seems to be going towards self Indulgences of money; greed; sexual; self love; drugs and other misleading new age concepts as we can save ourselves.
That we created ourselves.
I don’t know the answers but I am thankful for what I have and I am prepared
for anything because I have a holy spirit inside my heart of hearts who prays for all people on all levels please get ready to be prepared for polar shifts and great disasters matthew 24# speaks of:
I dont push religion I have witnessed so many on the net professing to be christians and i’m actually dismayed how they judge and criticize.
Most have really treated me badly.
So trust me becuz I say I have faith in a God/Creator I am not pushing religion. I did pray before I could even speak though I know something has placed us living beings on this earth.
So many new age concepts though don’t speak of the “holy spirit” who guides us to do whats best and gives us the strengh to survive in this world.
The Bible speaks of the third dictator I feel he is the leader of Iran that man wants to bring on armageddon but inturn is lying and saying america wants to its quite a shame those who seek wisdom dont see simple concepts as “those who accuse others themselves are guilty.”
If you even mention Jesus You are condemned something about that;
(that all men will hate us becuz of that name just doesn’t settle with me.) Especially when he foretold it; would be this way; just think about it. I just know I pray for all people.
And I think there is no way individuals also sell their books saying they can teach enlightenment. You can’t teach enlightenment I feel its inside the soul from the beginning and we either seek light or darkness and its our choices in the end that will decide our souls fates’
I feel we should all be encouraged to pray for world peace and it isn’t forming a one world order. Its allowing freedom of choices while praying for one another and those who do not want involved in prayer let them decide their own destiny.
