I have been experiencing an odd occurrence for approximately the past 18 months. It started off somewhat slow but has progressively become more frequent to where it happens almost every day. At random times, I will happen to look at the clock, or at some other screen, paper and I keep coming across the number, 11 11.
Usually, this occurrence occurs with the clock where I happen to look at the clock on my computer, alarm clock, cable tv box, microwave, etc. precisely at 11:11. So what you may ask, big deal? I didn’t think much of it at first but I started noticing it happening more and more to where it seems highly improbable that it is just a random chance coincidence.
According to a variety of sources, the Mayan Calendar Long Count cycle ends on December 21, 2012 at 11:11 am universal time. When this phenomena first started, I thought about this time relating to the end date. Again, I didn’t think too much about it, but after a few months of it increasing in frequency I started to feel that something strange is occurring and it relates to the 2012 end date and time of the Long Count.
I started researching the topic somewhat and I discovered that this experience is happening to millions of people around the world! A book (shown below) was recently published about this specific experience I am describing.
I am highly interested in what other people think about this. Especially comments from anyone else experiencing this or similar phenomena. I have no idea what it means but I do feel it has something to do with 2012. Please submit your comments.

Very interesting points being made. look into HAARP A high beam frequency (very very high) which can be used for experimenting on the ionosphere. but the same technology is used on a much smaller scale for finding oil and gas in the ground. bouncing a signal down and reading the signal that comes back. so if that very very high signal is bounced back down on a part of the earth then the earth rsonant frequencies will increase dramaticaly, resulting in an earthquake. 2 in england last month, this technology can also be used to heat up areas of the atmosphere to control weather conditions. hurricanes etc. have a look at my blogsite i want to know what you have to say

My number is 13, my son Josh passed in a car accident 6 years ago, his birthday happened to be Oct 13. My wifes Birthday is December 13… So when you have a loss like this you look for reconnection. One day I was looking into a Mayan calendar converter with regard to my birthday which is Feb 15. The astrological converter said that my birthday on the Gregorian Calendar converted to the Mayan number 13. This number pops up all of the time…Random this or that seems to point to 13… Not sure what it all means but I’m going to look further into the Mayan number…

Oh sorry, I forgot the main thought of 13 and me, when I did my sons birthday his sacred mayan number was 13 also….So then I did all of our birthday in my family and the rest were not 13 but they fit in with 13 according to the Astrology….go figure….These days I try to keep an open mind and be a good listener….
I have had the same 11:11 expirience starting back in the early 1990′s when I was just 19 years old. I saw it all the time on every clock, twice a day everyday, and everywhere.
For a long time I did not fully understand the meaning , but I have more of a spiritual understanding by just opening myself to a my higher self. I began to empty my minde of the chatter and to be still, also I trained myself to be aware of my thinking and replace negitive thoughts with possitive one’s.
Here is my intuitive thoughts about the 11:11,
We are more than our pysical body’s so we excist in more than just one dimention at one time. If you take the 11:11 and imagine this is you and there is a doorway between who you are here and who you are in the spirit world. They must be in alienment with eachother to be in harmony with your highest self is to be your true self. In this way you are in alienment with the great cord or pillar of light wich connects us all as one!
All that will be left after we pass into the spirit world is our true self which is determined by the thoughts we think, our deeds and actions.
So by practicing possitive thought, doing good deeds (there are endless opportunity’s presented to us everday to do this, even if it’s opening a door for someone or just a smile), and possitive action( respecting eachother and the Earth with passionate rightousness in every aspect of our life) We are given a warning in the form of the number’s 11:11,which is to enter the narrow doorway after this life we must be true to our true nature in all of it’s pure goodness which will alien our soul and allow us to pass into the next world.
You can see 11:11 is a perfect match on bolth sides of the doorway,and so are we when we alien ourself with all goodness!
11:11 is a trigger number which wake’s our conciousness to our true nature, so we are being created here as a child is created inside a woman, to be born into a new Heavenly place free of all Human suffering.
Never read anything about 11:11 until today, but I had already started on a journey to align my actions with the light in my soul. I have been writing about the duality of man and how we know when we take the right path beause we feel it. It is when I would take the path to the left that I felt a deep anxiety that I couldn’t figure out. I realized in taking the right path I foud a new peace inside of me and the anxiety was gone. In my alignment of actions with the light or soul I knew I was preparing myself. I see that I’m not alone on this journey. My mind tells me that there is no validity to this change I feel, but it is my past experiences that tell me not to ignore the change regardless of whether I can validate or understand it. The fact is I’m changing and moving into a better alignment within myself. The change is real, but I’ve never tried to understand it. I just “know” it is the right path and I “know” it is somehow related to my current consciousness and one that I’ve not fully realized.

Our Gregorian calender has been altered and has had a couple other calender transititions in between. What makes you think that the Mayan calender is even close to the Gregorian calender? For all you hard core conspirary theorists, I will see you on the other side at 12-22-2010. Just like I called it when Y2K rolled around. I met you all on the other side on 1-2-2000. Nothing will happen I personally assure you.
The weather phenomenon going on with earthquakes, cold and hot spells is nothing more than that of the earth doing what it has been doing for millions of years. Just because you lived there all your life doesnt mean it hasnt happened before. You are the newest addition to your area.

11:11 refers to the 11 Universal and 11 Spiritual Laws of the Cosmos. Google them. If they were known and observed we would live in peace and happiness until technology took us elsewhere in the Universe. Because then we would be ready to travel. We are too aggressive and greedy at this point in time we would merely pollute the beauty of space and time. Jesus words that he replaced the 10 Commandments with 2 Laws only. To love your God and to love your neighbour as yourself would work but people need the 11:11 Laws to spell it out. We are that ‘thick’.
I have been complaining to friends about this very thing for months, I had no idea this is happening to other people, I am writting a research paper on the mayan calendar and how it relates to 2012 and just happen to find your post. I am freaking out here, I don’t understand whats going on with this 11:11, like I said this has been happening to me for months, I will wake up and look at the clock and it will always be 11:11. I cannot believe this!!! I finally gave up and started looking this up this morning. I cannot even remember when it started. My family and friends just laugh at me and tell me to resist looking at the clock to see what happens. Believe it or not, no matter what I do, dang if it doesn’t keep sneaking in on me.

My sister, daughter and myself has been seeing the 11:11 phenomena for years (myself starting in the 1980′s).
I was sure of one thing, the the Y2K was not going to be disastrous, I knew this because I was the Y2K head of one of the world’s largest semiconductor companies (it was my job to see that we didn’t have crashes on Y2k).
But this is different, there is a signal that is ‘trying’ to tell us something by giving us a clue (the 11:11) I can almost guarantee anti 2010 isn’t seeing this.
Just this evening I went in the bedroom to get something and noticed the clock that my ferrets unplugged last night (I just plugged it back in after they did that) was on 11:11!
I certainly hope we see you on “the other side” but you better start hoping you are wrong, for your own sake.

Personally, I am of the belief that there is no coincidence in life. While we might not ever know why we come into each others paths, there is always a reason.
In late 2007, early 2008, I noticed what almost seemed like a burp of evil (for lack of a better word), unleashed upon the world, well at least in my environment. I often wonder if anyone else noticed this as well. I never could put my finger on it, just things were out of place, people normally pleasant were abrasive. Just strange stuff.

And I’m pleased to note that I often see 15:53 on the clock (most days). Sometime I do have to wiat a bit for it, though. I wonder if it’s some form of communication?

this is only a thought but the the mayan calender finished when the conquistadores came and destroyed the aztecs, mayan, and the incas and that is why the calender was not finished. i hope i am right.
Hello Fred, you are incorrect. The Mayan calendar is a complex system of multiple calendars working in conjunction. The calendar does not end, just the cycle. I recommend you research more for a better understanding.

2012 has been tingling my soul for a short time now I had planned to be baptized then. I shall be of the age Jesus was when he was anoited. It has been made clear since te great Flood our world has continued to live in sin. Government by human rule has never worked and man had the chance to choose life instead he chose death by the hand of satan using valueless materialistic goods. I know the time is near because I myself have already giving myself to Jehovah in Jesus name and have giving up on hope in a world of imperfect humans. This is quite normal. There is nothing special about that number you look at the clock many times at day and see many different numbers several times but you notice the one you have heard about or red about. Like when i played Counter-Strike:Source ( a video game ) i noticed the number 13:37 on the clock every day. 1337 Means Leet and is the gamer language where u write numbers instead of letters like : n1 ( means nice one) or im @ Counter-Strike ( im at Counter-strike ) m8 ( means mate, buddy ) and much other stuff

On the surface you would seem correct but I do not believe this to be the case for several reasons. This started happening out of the blue without me reading anything about the phenomenon itself. Also, it does not explain why millions of people around the world are experiencing the same 11:11 synchronicity. Surely all these people are not actively reading or playing games with 11:11 as a recurring theme. What you mention with your game experience is valid and applies to many things. Such as when one buys a white car and they notice white cars everywhere. Again this is different. The frequency of the occurrences is statistically unlikely which made me notice it in the first place. Thank you for your comments though.

Both my husband and I started to have the 11:11 experience in 1991, not long after our son was born. I did not say anything at first, but when I mentioned it my husband told me it was also happening to him. It just seemed so weird.
Today we happened to watch the movie 2012, and when I googled it tonight this was the first site that came up.
To me there is something special to see those numbers in alignment.

I just can’t seem to get away from the 11:11 prompt. I started seeing it a few years ago. Everyday! Well my daughter was born on November 11th. So everyday I would say happy birthday to my daughter. My daughter lives out of state so I enjoyed that connection to her.
Then one day I stopped in my house between appointments. I was walking into the living room and literaly stopped and walked into the other room to look at the clock. Of course it was 11:11. So I thought what the heck is going on. I have always had odd things happen to me. Later on I typed in 11:11 and was really shocked to find so much information.
It has been only recently that I found out about the 11:11 attached to 2012. I’ve looked into 2012 and then looked away.
I think a huge spriritual shift is coming. As one site said, ” We are in the correcting time”. I’m preparing my mind, body and soul. If nothing happens then I will be more in tune with myself. What could be wrong with that!
2012 is just the beginning of our problems. I’ve been having visions and seeing things since I was a little girl. Some have already happened (26/12/04 as an example… imagine being 19 years old and seeing that 3 days before the event. I cried my eyes out on the tube in front of everyone). If the rest of the things don’t happen then I will be thrilled and I will quite happily check myself in somewhere to get treated for being bonkers. I just don’t see how any of us stand a chance though, how some of the things we’ll need to do will get done… I’m just busying myself with this Earthly life whilst I can. I don’t want to join the universal oneness quite yet.

I have been experiencing seeing 11:11 almost constantly for the past few months. I had no awareness that the Mayan calendar is supposed to end at 11:11 until tonight. What trips me out is that for the past few months (around the time I started seeing 11:11) I’ve been having a strong sensation of the Mayans being right, and the world actually ending. It’s so odd to me that millions are also repeatedly catching the clock at 11:11…I’ve always been a skeptic but I feel a weird sense that it’s a prophecy of sorts…
Hello. I am writing a paper for school about 2012, the supposed end of the world. I stumbled across this while in class researching and I noticed the 11:11 thing. Me my brother and my sister used to ALWAYS happen to look at the clock at 11:11. We pointed it out to each other, and we had really no idea the significance of it. We used to laugh and think how halirous it was for us to always do that. It’s been happening for so long, we’ve kinda dropped it, although sometimes you’ll hear us muttering about how the time is 11:11. Also, it happens to a few of my friends, and we began talking and thinking it was a number of some importance, so we decided that if we look at the clock at that time, we would make a wish. And we still do that to this day. I had no idea so many people around the world have the same occurrence… I do believe there is a reason for this, but I was reading some of these comments, and I will look up those 10 universal and 10 spiritual laws of the cosmos that a few have spoken of. This kind of thing interests me, and I like to do lots of research and found out as much as I possibly can. Now as for the world ending on December 21, 2012 at 11:11 a.m. universal time… i’m not sure about that one. As in the Bible, Mathew 24: 35-36 “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words shall not pass away. But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.” That right there is enough for me to believe it will not happen at this time because NO ONE is suppsoed to know when the end of the world is. That does not mean some one COULD have predicted it, because just because we shouldn’t know, doesn’t mean someone won’t find out. Like I said, I am skeptical about this date and time, but have not totally gone againt discussing it. It is still a possibility, and no one will know if it will happen until it does or doesn’t. Although it makes for great discussions. ^-^
I have been experiencing the 11:11 phenomenon for at least 20 yrs now. Interestingly I mentioned it to my son-in-law and he too sees it. Weird stuff. My explanation for it is the demons are just tweeking some of us. It’s not a God thing. He doesn’t mess w/ us that way. But the devil loves to screw w/ folks. I do believe this world is in its final tailspin but we “don’t know the day or the hour”. This 11:11 deal is just freaky and I think Satan’s little toy to mess w/ our minds. Gotta say though, I was fascinating to find that it is a worldwide phenomenon. Very interesting. Most explanations are too New Age-y for me. Hocus-pocus. No, I need tangible or forget it.

The 11:11 coincidence (yes, a coincidence) is very common when you pay attention to these numbers specifically.
Are you concerned when you glance at your clock and it’s “12:12″? No, but you have the same chances to see “12:12″ than “11:11″. This, with different time zones and millions of people that are looking at the clock at the same time than you are.
This is not abnormal. Media is making this abnormal.

I have not seen this in the media at all. The frequency at which it occurs is statistically improbable And it is not just the clock and not when I just happen to be looking for it. I never heard of other people experiencing it until a year later. The same question can be asked, “why not another number sequence.” Why is 11:11 being experienced by so many, so much that even a book has been written about the phenomenon. And it’s not a matter of people all over the world looking at the clock at the same time, it’s a matter of people seeing the number 11:11 on a frequent basis and not just relegated to a clock.
Of course you can doubt this experience but it is something you cannot disprove. I am definitely experiencing this and I don’t know why, but it is happening.
There are many other sequences, but this one is special for you and other people.
But even if you are indeed noticing this sequence more frequently, why is this significant?
Those numbers are just it: numbers.
It is significant in that it is statistically improbable at the frequency and manner in which it occurs. Why it is occurring to myself and supposedly millions of other people around the world is the big question. I do not have the answer. The only thing I can tie it to is the significance of the number with the 2012 end date. Other aspects of the number eleven itself are esoteric and do not shed any real light on the phenomenon.

I was born on 11-11. I see 11-11. I know I am needed 11-11 whatever year or reason. What does it matter as long as we are willing to help as asked? I am admittantly strange, lol, but I believe in being born for a purpose. I’ve been told by “the unkown one” for years that the day I have been preparing for is at hand….and I know it will be 11-11.

I have been telling my family for several years that I thought it was strange that I kept and still keep seeing the number 1:11 or 11:11. Not just with time either I could be looking at something in a store and I’ll see these numbers. It’s crazy. I read somewhere that each person has there own number and that it ment that whatever year we die it will be at the time we keep seeing. So I would die at either 1:11 or 11:11. I never thought to connect it with end of days,which by the way I’m very interested in! I’m fascinated by Nostradamus. Would love to learn more of him and others including the Mayans. This 11 phenomena happens to me as well when looking at the time. not just 11:11 but frequently I get 3:11, 9:11, 5:11. Not just looking at the clock but when buying random things at the store my total will be one of those amounts. This also happens to my husband, ky best friend in California, her brother etc. recently both my husband and I had an overwhelming urge to move from se usa to Alaska. Like almost with a panicked urgency. We now feel at ease in northern Alaska. very at peace for the first time in years

I agree with the idea that we have to be good people or we will not be alright in the next life, and that something does seem to be happening. I don’t know what it is but there is some radical change sweeping through people and I only recently began to see it.
For this reason I encourage people to do a lot more research into religion. I did so myself and after some extensive study that countered a lot of current attitudes, I found myself convinced in Islam.

Re the Mayan calendar, most mistranslate the associated biblical reference. It is not the end of times, but rather, the end of an Age, eg, marking the end of the age of Pisces and entering the new age of Aquarius. Before Pisces (fish/Christianity) was Taurus (ram/Jewish). The zodiac tracks this passing of Ages through time.

well, i think it has something to do with your state of thought such as fear, worry,anxiousness, etc, this is a factor in this because people tend to see, hear and smell things more commonly because they fear or or are hoping to encounter it.
